Benefits & Membership

Meeting Information

We meet the 4th Saturday of the month. Please come as early as 8:30am to get signed in, get your name tag and start networking and learning before the meeting. The presentation begins at 10:00am and the Q&A session lasts until about 12:30pm. Many members stay for lunch, and beyond, for additional networking and learning.

The knowledge you get from other participants is often more valuable that what you learn from our presentation.

Directions to Ryan's

IAG Goals

To recognize the inventor as the creator of products for the consumer and/or industry.

To stimulate public interest in invention through public relations, publicity, and other promotions.

To keep members informed of changes in patent laws and regulations.

To co-ordinate with other like-minded inventor groups throughout the country in order to advance the cause of the American inventor.

To describe the general process and procedures of patent, trademark, and copyright applications, and the marketing of an invention.

To host productive meetings of interest to members and guests by providing interest and relevant guest speakers. The speaker may be member or guest who has knowledge or expertise on a subject of interest to inventors and is willing to address our group on a pro-bono or ''for-a-free lunch’’ basis. Past speakers covered such areas as protecting intellectual property (IP), marketing and licensing, building prototypes, graphic design, as well as building a small business.

To provide an opportunity for guests and/or members to ‘’network’’ after the business portion of the meeting with the speaker or a member for additional information.
