1. Our next information packed meeting is this coming Saturday, the 23rd. See details below
2. Do you have items that you can donate for door prizes? I'm looking to increase the fun factor at meetings.
Bring them to the meetings. Small re-gifting type items.
3. Our new club T-shirts are done and will be available at the meeting. Bring a check with you.
$7.50 for the standard Tee and $10 for gals V-neck style Tee. Help promote the club by wearing it at big

4. Come earlier to the meetings to network and have breakfast. Get more networking in by coming well ahead of the meeting, which will still begin at 10AM.. Many people can't stay later for lunch and wish they had more time to learn from the other participants.. Please help in greeting visitors and helping to foster connections with others.
5. If you have a discussion item for the agenda, e-mail dave@davesavage.com
6. The Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring Gadgetfest in July. It is a conference and expo that invites inventors to show their products and look for corporate connections. We are going to be a sponsor and have an information table. Come and assist me spread the word about our group to the business community. Details are below.
7. If you are a member and come to our June meeting, you may win a seat at a great Inventors "How to" seminar. Our April speakers, Antonio and Raquel Anderson, provided so much information, we let them talk for an extra half hour. They have seminars that are even more packed with helpful information. Their next seminar is July 21st. They have given us a seat at the seminar, in exchange for this plug and one at the meeting. For information and registration go to their web site www.takeittothemarket.com Reply back to me with ideas on how to give away this great item.
8. Be a media darling for a day. I have found that getting articles into local newspapers about the club is impossible without a local angle. Write a short blub about yourself as an inventor-innovator, mentioning your involvement in our club. Have a picture of yourself taken with a product or light bulb in hand. E- mail them to me and I'll see if I can turn it into your 15 minutes and something to send to relatives.
9. Spread the word about our club at every opportunity. You'll get lots of great response when you do.
Print out copies of the flier and keep them in your car. I find that many small businesses will gladly put them on their sales counter.
10. I'm looking for a record crowd, at our meeting. If you're not a member yet, please put a check in your wallet now, so you won't forget it. You get many great presentations for just $25. Whata deal!!

Our policy of permitting people to attend 2 meetings before joining is designed to assure prospects that our group is appropriate for them and that they will get enough value for their money. Frankly, 98% of folks realize the tremendous value of our group in the first hour of their first meeting.
The second free meeting is just in case someone accidently forgets to bring a check to the first or second meeting. This policy isn't 2 free meetings a year for everyone. If you have been a member or have attended 2 meeting at any time in the past, you are expected to join the next time you attend.
Your board has agreed to increasingly differentiate between member and prospect benefits. Members are now going to get e-mail notices of inventor events and other helpful information. Prospects will be informed that members have been e-mailed this information.
We are now having everyone sign in at our meetings; Karen Nadler-Sachs, our membership chair, is cross checking the lists. It will be a delicate matter to ask anyone who has abused the policy to leave, but it is only fair to those who have honored it. For too many years we have been casual about this and now we have a new beginning.
